Pan-Americas mobile operator América Móvil said its second quarter revenues were up 11.9% year-on-year to 100.9 billion pesos (7.94 billion US dollars), buoyed by a rise in data revenues of 41.6%. The Mexico City-based operator added 4.9 million new wireless subscribers in the quarter to finish June with 211.3 million wireless customers in the Americas, 11.0% more than at the end of June 2009.
