Latam Drives Telefonica

Julio Linares, Telefonica's chief operating officer, told the Financial Times his company's Latin Amercian operations should generate double-digit revenue growth this year. Mr Linares said Telefónica’s Brazilian business has not so far been affected by the fourth quarter 2008 downturn in Brazil's economy. source: Financial Times
